The Northland is the part of Kansas City north of the Missouri River — Clay and Platte counties, more than 360,000 people, and a mix that runs from dense older neighborhoods to subdivisions that were cornfields fifteen years ago. It's our home territory. Everything we do runs out of Lathrop, which is straight up I-35 from here.
We're deliberately not trying to be the dumpster company for all of Kansas City. We're the one for north of the river, where we actually live and where we can get a container to you quickly without pretending distance doesn't exist.

Where the dumpster goes in the Northland

Kansas City permit requirements
Kansas City, MO does require a permit for a dumpster in the public right-of-way. The City's Public Works department lists a dumpster permit among the permits issued through CompassKC, its online permitting portal, and Public Works is explicit that it handles permits for activities within the right-of-way or that affect public use of the streets. We are not going to publish a fee or duration here that might be stale. If your dumpster can go on your driveway, none of this applies. If it has to go in the street, tell us and we'll work through CompassKC requirements with you before we deliver.
Where Northland debris actually goes
Neither Clay nor Platte County has an operating sanitary landfill — that's straight from Missouri DNR's list. Every load out of the Northland crosses back south to Courtney Ridge in Sugar Creek, over in Jackson County. It's worth knowing because it explains something the national brokers never mention: the weight limit on a roll-off isn't arbitrary, it's the haul.

- We deliver across the Northland. Often same or next day. We set boards under the rails on driveway placements and put the container where you're actually working, not just at the top of the drive.
- Fill it on your schedule. Three days or seven, whichever you booked. Load heavy flat items first and fill the gaps — most people who need a second container filled the first one with air.
